Executive Pastor Deanna Hayden
Originally from San Diego, Deanna moved to the Kansas City area in 2002 to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary. There, she met and married Ben Hayden, and both graduated from NTS with a Master's of Divinity in 2006. In March of 2008, they had their first child, Josiah. Deanna has ministered through teaching in South Korea for 2 years, and was an associate pastor in the inner city of Kansas City for 3 years. Ben serves the denomination as a chaplain. Deanna serves Southwood Church in the areas of pastoral care, connecting with the community, and nurturing the church in discipleship.
